JA Selection Day 2010

That time of year had rolled around again where we would select the JA's who will represent Australia at the 23rd APCC in Japan. We held the meeting at Rostrevor Guide Hall where we had the opportunity to meet the candidates as well as their parents to tell them more about the fantastic program.

After a brief introduction the parents left us with the children to play a variety of get to know you games and team activities. It was great to have Satoshi down from BCIO Head Office Japan to oversee the day aswell as meet the children. After some games we headed to the park for a picnic lunch and some fun on the playground.

We returned to the hall to watch a DVD from last year's trip which gave the children an idea of the amazing experience ahead if they are lucky enough to be selected.

It was a great day and it is going to be very tough to make a decision for the limited places as all the children have such great qualities.
