Common Activity 2015- A day at the MCG

What a fabulous day we had at the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) open day! We began the day with a real Aussie BBQ, vegemite sandwiches and lamingtons by the Yarra River in Melbourne. Once we had filled our stomachs we headed over to the fabled sports grounds the Melbournians love to watch cricket, Australian Rules Football (AFL) and many other sporting events. We had photos with the Cricket World Cup trophy and the AFL grand final trophy. We were even lucky enough to go onto the ground and have our own game of football, followed by a look around the training rooms. It was a fantastic day filled with Australian food and sport and great to catch up with our Bridge Club friends.
