Common Activity - Eureka Skydeck

What better way to view to the city of Melbourne than by going up to the top of its tallest tower! For this year’s common activity, Travel Lookouts, we decided to view the city from above so we could recommend it all to our international visitors. Going up the lift of the Eureka Tower took us right to the top where we were in awe at the views of the surrounding city. It was a perfect day, with views stretching out across Port Phillip Bay (full of unique wildlife and great beaches) to the South, the Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley (tourist wine and food region) to the East, Flemington Racecourse (where the famous Melbourne Cup horse race occurs once a year) and the Great Ocean Road (famous for the 12 apostles) in the distance to the West. What a way to see our beautiful city. And our international visitors thought so too, thanks for coming Munmun from India and Joanne from Taiwan.
It is pretty amazing being so high up but for the brave you can go into a room surrounded by glass, that includes, walls, ceiling and floor! Truly and amazing view.

We had a fantastic day and recommend this to anyone coming to Melbourne.
