JA's Final Workshop!

Bright and early saturday morning, Hawai`i's six Junior Ambassadors excitedly met for their last time before departing on their journey for Fukuoka. The JA's practiced their hula, chants, and Japanese and Hawaiian phrases. To help with the learning of Japanese phrases, members from Bridge Club of Hawai`i came to teach our JA's! We went over simple introductory sentences, cultural practices, and gave them advice that stemmed from our experiences as JA's way back when. To solidfy the friendship between our current BCH members and current JA's, we ended with a team building game that encouraged both groups to work together. Our BCH members are so excited for the journey that our JA's are about to embark on and wish them all the happiness that comes with participating in this once in a lifetime event!
