Virtual PA Camp

Hi everyone, this is Tierra Nakamura, a BCH member and the Hawaii Peace Ambassador for 2020. Yesterday was the first day of the 2020 Virtual PA camp (today we will have the second session)! It was very exciting to be able to meet the other PAs from the other countries. We were able to learn a lot from lectures by Ms. Erin from Australia (who presented about what being a Peace Ambassador entails) as well as Mr. Moiz who discussed the theory of change, the process of developing activities to create impact, and about our previously-completed PA tasks. In zoom breakout rooms, we were able to brainstorm as groups possible activities. In addition to learning a lot a lot and gaining new insight, I also had fun—especially when we did games after our formal activities were completed. Thank you everyone! #VirtualPACamp2020
