"Peace on Your Wings" Luncheon and Musical

On February 11^th, Bridge Club Hawaii hosted our first large in-person event after quite some time. We spent the day with many Bridge Club members, friends, and family at our luncheon and musical event. Everyone met in a reception room at the historical Hawaii Theatre for a bento lunch provided by BCH, which we ate while chatting with friends and new faces. We then took a tour of the theatre and learned more about its history. After that, the members gathered to play games until it was time to take our seats for the youth production of “Peace on Your Wings.” This musical was co-written and directed by Jenny Taira, a 1991 APCC Junior Ambassador from Hawaii. The musical tells the story of Sadako Sasaki and her 1,000 paper cranes. It was very inspiring to see the next generation to showcase their passion in such a moving story.
