POSTER MAKING COMPETITION ON TRAFFIC RULES

This Activity was done in two parts. • First part, poster making competition on traffic rules. • Second part, the posters were given to the schools to be displayed on the school's bulletin board to spread awareness among the school students.

Main aim for organising this activity was to educate the students about traffic rules and to bring down the road accidents and causalities in the city.
20th Jan 2012:
Meeting was held at one of BC India Member (Ashima Agarwal) home and all the BC members were informed through BC India Facebook page and followed by personal phone call. Two BCI Members (Sagar Goyal & Ashima Agarwal) were at the meeting and the activity was planned.
21st Jan:
The participants were informed about the activity by door to door invitation, personal phone calls and Facebook. Sheets were provided to them and duration of the activity was 2.5 hours. 20 participants were between the age group of 8 years to 13 years. All the kids were given delicious breakfast. Best four posters were selected & prizes were distributed. All the BCI Members (Gwalior branch) were present { (Mridula Vaishya (JA 1999),Vividha Gupta (JA 2011), Sagar Goyal (JA 2005), Ashima Agarwal (JA 2002) } . Aforementioned, two of the BCI Members were the judges of the competition.
Venue was Ashima's place (Gwalior).
25th Jan:
Posters of all the students who participated were given to the schools, to spread awareness among the school students by getting them tucked on school bulletin board. It was learning with fun. The aim of the activity was achieved.
