Shared Birthday Cake with Hearing Impaired & Speech Impaired Children

WHAT can make one's birthday more meaningful than to celebrate it with SPECIAL CHILDREN. Apart from making beneficiaries genuinely happy and feel loved, one can truly experience a sense of fulfillment.
Well, that is very true with one of the BC India Member Dinesh Tarwani. He celebrated his birthday with hearing impaired and speech impaired children at Kopal Vani Residential School, Raipur on 29th December 2014.
The great celebration was filled with fun as story session on Birthday Theme, distribution of packet of cookies, chocolates and cutting of cake. BC India members interacted with the children through SIGN-LANGUAGE. The children had a fun time as they really enjoyed the story listening session; the handmade flip chart used for narrating the story was very colourful and pictorial.
The smiles on their face after receiving the cookies, chocolate and cake was the greatest birthday gift ever, and the sense of fulfillment we experienced has no substitute.
BC India members Nidhi Parekh (BCIO HO Member 2012, PA 2011, JA 1998) and Dinesh Tarwani (JA 2009)did the event along with four enthusiastic volunteers - Aayush Shah, Arjun Krishnani, Bhavi Raichura, Rahul Jhangel.
