BCIN Conducts Calligraphy Workshop

A calligraphy workshop was organised by the collaborative initiative of Bridge Club India (BCIN) and the NGO, Ummid Ki Udan: A Centre for Children and Families, on 22nd September 2023 at the centre of Ummid ki Udaan, NGO, New Delhi. The workshop was organised on the occasion of the International Literacy Day celebration. The workshop aimed to practice one font style of English Calligraphy to acquire the training or skill required to produce beautiful and graceful handwriting and to create visually pleasing and aesthetically pleasing writing. The identified candidates were given one-to-one guidance and training in the one calligraphy font. JA Yoza Saleem, a Saras Calligraphy certified candidate who is also the North Zone Coordinator in the Bridge Club India, taught the calligraphy font to the candidates. The participants appreciated the efforts of Bridge Club India and looked forward to such workshops in the future too. Miss Rubina Saifi, the centre in-charge, thanked Bridge Club India and appreciated its efforts. The workshop culminated with prizes for the best participants and candies for all the participants.
