Final Report of Fundraising for Pakistan Floods
This is the report about fundraising for Pakistan floods.
First of all, we'd like to thank to everyone who supported us (including APCC volunteers).Finally, we BC Japan collected 81,261yen (approximately $ 1,000) in total.
On Oct.29th 2010, as a representative of BCJ, Ayumi Oki brought the fund to the Pakistan Embassy in Tokyo.
In the Embassy, she talked with Mr.Imtiaz Ahmad (Minister) about flood damage of Pakistan.
He told her that the circumstances are not good even now.
And Ayumi told him about the activity of APCC and BRIDGE CLUB.
He seemed to be interested in APCC and Bridge Club!!Again, we appreciate all people who worked with us for Pakistan.
We hope the sooner recovery of Pakistan !
Recently, we got a news from BC Pakistan. Surprisingly, one newspaper wrote an article about our donation.
In addition, the Pakistan Embassy of Tokyo sent us a letter of appreciation.
