On 9th February 2013, BC Myanmar did the last common activity (GI) for this year with BC Maldives. The topic was about 'Famous Landmarks'. The whole conference took about an hour and we learned about the rich cultures and traditions of each country. Myanmar is known as 'The Golden Land', famous for millions of pagodas existing all over the country. Maldives is also rich in historical monuments and very famous for its beautiful beaches.
Myanmar participants explained about the most famous landmarks of the country such as the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, known as the oldest pagoda on earth. Maldivian participants talked about famous places such as Republic Square Park and Victory Day Monument. It was really nice to know about many famous places of Maldives and I am sure it would be the same for them. We feel very lucky to have a chance like this. Many special thanks to APCC and BCIO for giving us this kind of awesome common activity -Glob@l Interf@ce to do for this year.
