Myanmar New Year Donation

It is a tradition of Myanmar people to do donations and good deeds, especially during special occasions. Myanmar New Year is approaching, so we BCMM family members decided to do an activity to welcome our new year.

We all gathered at Hnin Si Gone Aging Home at 4: OO pm on 9th April 2013. Tea Time for the senior citizens is 4:15 pm so we registered our donation of 70000 Kyats at the office before leaving to the dining hall. BCMM received a certificate and we all were treated very nicely by the authorities there. We explored around the dining hall, hospital and private rooms where we gave the sweet buns to all 200 senior citizens there. All the members of BCMM actively helped out with the distribution and spent time there happily, accompanying the lonely elderly people. Everyone had a very great experience and that day will be one of the most memorable activities of BCMM, I believe. Special thanks to APCC and BCIO for bringing us all together and help out the needy people.
