Mr. Hitoshi Iwamoto visited Myanmar again!

5th October 2013( Saturday)

Location : Western Park Ruby Restaurant                                                         Yangon, Myanmar

It has been just over a year that our BRIDGE CLUB was established and the numbers of members are increasing not only on facebook but also in doing activities.  Last year around this time of the year, Mr. Hitoshi Iwamoto (a former managing director of BCIO) visited Myanmar for the first time alone. He came with a business trip but he gave time for BCMM members- a welcome party and a farewell dinner. Likely, he came to visit Myanmar for the second time together with Ms. Kano Saki, a staff from his school on 5th October 2013. So, we all planned a dinner party for Iwamotosan and Kanosan where BCMM members had a wonderful gathering event in the evening. It took place at Western Park Ruby Restaurant, one of the most famous restaurants in Yangon where we all had great time with fantastic food and people! After we had dinner, we took photos and handed Myanmar traditional gifts to Iwamotosan and Kano san. Unexpectedly, Iwamotosan brought gifts for everyone too! They were tiny products from his college, FFLC like key rings and badges but they are really neat gifts that everyone enjoyed them so much. Of course, we all are really grateful to Iwamotosan for bringing us gifts although he is a very busy person.

Iwamotosan also gave his time to meet some officers from Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA) as well as with native Japanese from the Japanese Embassy in Yangon so that we will be able to have Myanmar Junior Ambassadors again this year. We will just have to hope for the best…

On his last day in Yangon, we went around to see famous landmarks especially Pagodas.  You can imagine how much Iwamotosan and Kano san enjoyed their stay in Myanmar just by looking at their smiling faces!

We always WELCOME anyone from APCC, so why not VIST MYANMAR?! :)  Join our BRIDGE CLUB!
