Peace by Piece - Happy Workshop, Happy Memories!!!

Receiving the new spirit of 2014, BCMM could implement a joyful workshop in the evening of 24th January to promote this year’s common activity ( Peace by Piece ). It took about two hours where the venue was BCMM head office. Eleven members (former JAs and PAs) altogether actively participated and we all totally enjoyed it. Each and every participant expressed their creativity and artistic talents by drawing and painting on white T-shirts.

Even though the ways of presentation and designs were different, we could see the same thing in all artworks. That is the sincere willingness which deeply reflects the values achieved from our honourable APCC movie ‘Midori’s Flying Goldfish’. The words: ‘ diversity, respect, understanding, perseverance,  love and peace ‘ were not just written by our hands but by our hearts. We all believe that our art pieces means a lot in celebrating the value of ‘OMOIYARI spirit ‘.

Personally, I came to realize more about colours in this workshop. It was so obvious that all different colours must be combined to create a beautiful work of art , so I believed that this inspiration and feeling must be the highlight and message of this year’s common activity.

We also had a brief meeting  afterwards where we discussed about 2013 Junior Ambassadors from Myanmar. As we got cooperation from the Liaison Office, we are sure that one of the dreams of BCMM has come true…. It will be accomplished in July 2014 when we will have a strong delegation group once again from Myanmar!

To sum up, “It was all fun !!!!!!!!!! “ We took a bunch of photos holding our art pieces and I am sure this workshop will go down in BCMM History as one of the greatest and most memorable events that we have ever had!

Thank you very much to all BCMM family members for your continuous passionate effort for our BC.

Special thanks to our lovely president ‘ Yamin’ who arranged this activity and treated us with home -made sushi and miso soup and our former president ‘Oo’ for organizing meetings with the liaison office.

Last but not the least, BCMM always appreciate the marvelous help and support of APCC and BCIO from every aspect. We’ll try our best , We promise.

Everyone… Let’s CHEER for our common activity!!!!!

It is my belief that we all will successfully build “ Peace by Piece”   because…

“ We are the BRIDGE!”.
