Pre-departure Concert | JA 2014
It was great to recall the “Pre-Departure Concert by Singapore Participants of Asian Pacific Children’s Convention (APCC) 2014.”
This event was jointly organised by The Japanese Cultural Society, Singapore and Bridge Club @ Singapore on the afternoon of 5 July at Singapore Management University.The event was aimed to present “Performance Showcase” and “Experience Sharing” by a group of Six Primary-5 Students, who were selected as Singapore Delegates to attend 26th APCC, Fukuoka, Japan.
The event was opened by a Welcome Speech by Mr. Raymond Chan, the Honorary Secretary of the Japanese Cultural Society, Singapore, followed by the introduction in details of APCC program by our beloved Mr. David Chow, Liaison Officer for Bridge Club @ Singapore.
The audiences who were the distinguished guests of both organisations, members of BC Singapore who were former Peace Ambassadors and Junior Ambassadors, chaperone, PA and JAs for this year event and their parents and relatives, were really excited and enjoyed the events while the group of Six Junior Ambassadors performed their Simultaneous Singing and Dancing of Rasa Sayang which represents the spirit of Singapore.
There were also displays of their memories in photos along the preparation journey of this year APCC programme, together with some of their art-works. It was a memorable event to introduce what the APCC program is about and their preparation journeys for this year’s event.
