12TH ANNIVERSARY OF BCSL

The 12th anniversary of Bridge Club Sri Lanka was held on 10th of July 2010 at the auditorium of ministry of education.Honourable minister of education,Mr.Bandula Gunawardhana was the chief guest at this occasion and 1st secretary of Embassy of Japan was the guest of honour.

As the tradition after lighting the oil lamp Master. Jayanaka Rivimal,the president of BCSL delivered the welcome speech and explained the objectives of BCSL and APCC.Miss.Thejanee Udumanne, the immediate past president of BCSL expressed her experiences on BCSL and APCC.Minister and the 1st secretary appreciated the service done by BCSL and congratulated us for a brighter future.

Junior ambassadors who participate the 22nd APCC performed thier dancing items that they hope to perform in Japan.Other talented members of BCSL also got an opportunity to show their skills. Those performances were highly appreciated by the gathering.Air tickets for the team which participates the 22nd APCC were distributed at this occasion.BCSL offered special souvnirs for the minister and the 1st secretary to mark the occasion.And the minister handed over some gifts to the chaperon for the APCC.

Miss.Suganya Paskaran delivered the vote of thanks.After the function lunch was prepared for all the participants.

Mr.Sunil S. Sirisena,the secretary of ministry of education,Mr, N.Madawanarachchi,the deputy director of education & the liason officer of APCC,Miss.Kumari Pirisyala,The deputy director of education were among the guests at this occasion.
